IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Applicants who will not have a processed FAFSA Submission Summary by the April 17th deadline should complete the Federal Student Aid Estimator instead, which can be found here: https://studentaid.gov/aid-estimator/. Check your email for more information.

For applicants who were able to successfully submit the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will need to need to upload one of the following PDFs to the Financial page of the application before the April 17, 2024 deadline.  Your first and last name and the Student Aid Index (SAI) must be on the document.  Check to make sure there is a number listed for the SAI.

1. PDF copy of the email "Subject: We've Received Your FAFSA Form" that you received after completing the FAFSA. Click here to view a sample.
2. PDF copy of the "FAFSA Confirmation Page" that appears immediately after completing the FAFSA.  Click here to view a sample. OR
3. PDF copy of the "Eligibility Overview" tab of your 2024-2025 FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS)*.  Click here to view a sample.  FAFSAs are being processed now- please log in daily to check your FAFSA status!

The Student Aid Index (SAI) on the FAFSA Submission Summary must be below 10,000 in order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.  The Student Aid Index is what was previously the Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
